Jesse Raymond (Randy) Bates, Jr. graduated form Dalton High School in 1967, attended the University of Georgia from 1967-1972, and Walter F. George School of Law/Mercer University from 1972-1975. Initially an associate with Mitchell and Mitchell Attorneys in 1975, Randy became a partner in 1977 until establishing his own firm in 1982. He has 45 years of experience in law practice, handling many personal injury actions, contract matters, divorce, and domestic relation/family cases and has tried cases to judges and juries throughout Northwest Georgia. Randy now handles many high asset divorce actions, general litigation case and is a registered civil and domestic relations mediator. He is a lifelong resident of Dalton and Whitfield county and has been a volunteer in many civic and professional organizations.
