Motorcycle crashes may result in severe personal injury
Roadways can be dangerous. When a motor vehicle collision occurs, those in compact or nontraditional vehicles such as motorcycles may face a higher risk of personal injury. One Georgia biker suffered fatal injuries in a recent accident.
The collision occurred on a local road in Milton on the night of Sept. 30. The motorcycle and a car, described as a passenger vehicle in a preliminary police report, collided. The events leading up to the accident have yet to be determined. Further details of the crash have not been released at this time.
Multiple agencies, including the police and fire departments, responded to the scene. Tragically, the motorcyclist passed away as a result of the injuries he suffered. It is unknown whether the other driver or passengers, if any, were injured. The accident is still under investigation according to the police department.
It is never easy on families when victims die as a result of injuries they suffered in automobile accidents. Though nothing can replace the loss of life, deceased victims’ surviving families may find some sense of justice through filing personal injury lawsuits in civil court against any party believed responsible. These types of claims can potentially provide monetary damages that can be used to help pay for medical bills, funeral costs and any other related financial expenses when a defendant is proved negligent. Anyone who has lost a loved one in such a manner could consult an experienced Georgia personal injury attorney to find out more about these types of claims.
